    York is one of the Premier tracks in Europe and has won the 2004 Flat Racecourse of the Year Award.The left handed,u shaped course is both flat and fair on a circuit of 2m. York Racecourse is just outside the city of York with good motorway links on the M1 and A1. Once near the city, from the south, east and west the A64 and A1036 are the roads to follow. From the north, use the A19 and A59, then the York Ring Road to avoid the city centre.

    Yarmouth Racecourse offers 21 flat racing fixtures in a setting only a few minutes from the beach. The course is a flat and fair, left handed oval circuit of 1m 5f. The Racecourse is situated to the north of Great Yarmouth towards Caister. From the North and Midlands the Racecourse can be reached via the A47, the main Southern approach roads are the A11 (joining the A27 South of Norwich) and the A12 via Colchester, Ipswich and Lowestoft.On arrival at Great Yarmouth follow Yellow AA signs to the Racecourse.

    Worcester Racecourse is one of Britain's oldest racecourses where racing has taken place on the banks of the River Severn since 1718.This National Hunt course hosts 18 meetings from April to November.The left handed 1m5f oval circuit is mainly flat with long straights and easy turns. From the north or south take junction 6 off the M5 and follow the A449 towards Worcester City Centre. From the West take the A443 and A44, both offer good access to the city centre.

    Wolverhampton is Britain's only floodlit horse race track,with a tight left handed Polytrack oval all weather surface.This flat racing only course hosts numerous meetings throughout the year. Wolverhampton Racecourse has good access to the M6 and M54 motorway.Located north of the city centre, off the A449 dueal carriageway. Follow the brown tourist signs to Dunstall Park.From north: Exit junction 12 of the M6 onto A5 west, joining the A449 South.From south: Exit junction 10a of the M6 joining M54 to junction 2, following A449 South.

    Windsor Racecourse hosts 29 race meetings between April and December, 24 of these are flat meetings with the other 4 being National Hunt fixtures.Royal Windsor is the only figure-of-eight flat course in the country, and the sharp bends mean that the focus is on speed rather than stamina.The course is completely flat and has a circuit of 1m4f. Windsor Racecourse is on the main A308 between Windsor and Maidenhead. From the M4 leave at junction 6 and follow the signs to Windsor.From the M3 leave at junction 2 to join the M25 and travel North towards Heathrow. Leave the M25 at junction 15 and join the M4 (West) to junction 6.

Wincanton Racecourse is situated on the B3081 between Wincanton and Bruton. The B3081 is just off the A303 which is the arterial route between London and the Southwest. It is 37 miles south of Bristol and 38 miles north of Bournemouth.

Towcester is at the intersection of the A43 and A5 and the racecourse is a mile to the south east.Follow the M1, exiting Junction 15a and from Towcester town centre follow the signs to the course.

    Thirsk is one of Yorkshire's most beautiful country courses, set between the North Yorkshire Moors and the Dales.The racecourse offers 15 flat races mainly during the summer months on a sharp and level, left handed oval of about 1m2f. From the south (A1), take the A168 at Dishforth. After 6 miles take the B1448 to Thirsk. At the mini-roundabout, turn left and the racecourse is on the right. From the north (A1) follow signs for Thirsk. Enter Thirsk from the west along the A61. The racecourse is on the left about half a mile past the railway station.

    Taunton Racecourse,only a few minutes drive from the centre of Taunton, is the youngest Racecourse in Britain with outstanding views across the course to the wooded slopes of the Blackdown Hills.Taunton Racecourse offers 11 National Hunt meetings a year on a sharp right handed oval circuit of 1m2f. Taunton Racecourse is on the B3170 road from Taunton to Corfe & Honition, approx 2 miles south of Taunton town centre. Leave the M5 at Junction 25, and travel towards Taunton, following the signs for Racecourse. If you are travelling on the A303 or from Dorset or South Somerset, take the A358 which crosses under the M5 and pick up the Racecorse signs.

    Racing has taken place at Stratford Racecourse since 1755.Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse has fifteen meetings a year, most of which take place within the summer months,on a left handed, flat and sharp circuit of 1m2f. Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse is approximately 15 minutes from Junction 15 of the M40 and 40 minutes from Junction 7 of the M5. With Birmingham only 40 minutes away and London, Bristol, Cardiff and Manchester all within two hours drive, Stratford is easily accessible.
